Ms. Dan JIN


Ms. Jin graduated from the China Tsinghua University in 1996 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering. Then she studied in Korean Inha University from 1999 to 2001, and obtained a Master's degree in Wireless communication technologies.


Ms. Jin worked in Beijing for Lenovo systems integration Co., Ltd. as a software programmer from 1996 to 1999, then worked in Tokyo for Japanese CYBERCOM Co., Ltd. as a system engineer from 2001 to 2005, continued working in Tokyo for a Japanese IP firm as a patent attorney assistant drafting patent specifications and responding to office actions from 2005 to 2008, then worked in Beijing for a Chinese IP firm as a Japanese department manager drafting patent specifications and dealing with foreign-related patent applications from 2008 to 2010. Then she worked in Tokyo for another major Chinese IP firm as a representative of Japan resident office from 2010 to 2015, then headed Kinren patent service Co., Ltd. in Tokyo from 2015 to 2018, and joined Panawell & Partners in 2018.


Ms. Jin has about fifteen years of experience in patent applications for both domestic and foreign clients, and her practice covers wireless communications, computer, network technologies, digital multimedia, automatic control and related technical fields. Ms. Jin has experience of research and development concern with computer and communication technologies in enterprises before entering the intellectual property industry, and such experiences make her as a patent attorney could more technically understand the contents of invent. When she worked for the Japanese IP firm in Tokyo, Ms. Jin had been drafting Japanese patent specifications for Panasonic Electric Works Co., Ltd. over several years, and she also had been drafting Chinese patent specifications for Chinese clients when she worked for the Chinese IP firm. Because of these experiences Ms. Jin obtained patent application knowhow in both China and Japan. Furthermore, Ms. Jin can use four languages in working, especially as a Chinese she has been working in Japan for about twenty years, so she can fully understand Japanese culture and work styles and can accurately understand and deal with the needs of Japanese clients.


Ms.Jin is a member of the All-China Patent Attorneys Association (ACPAA).


Ms. Jin's working languages include Chinese, Japanese, English and Korean.
